E-Ten's Glofiish M800 with VGA, HSDPA, WiFi, and GPS -- now official

Why hello hello Mr. M800, thanks for officially joining the QWERTY party. Hot on the heels of their X800 launch comes the keyboard totin' M800 sharing most of the same goodies included that 2.8-inch, 480 x 640 (VGA!) touchscreen. If you love WinMo 6 Professional powered by a 500MHz Samsung S3C2442 CPU and riding atop quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE, tri-band UMTS/HSDPA data, SiRF Star III GPS, WiFi b/g, Blutooth 2.0+EDR, and a 2 megapixel camera then this is about as good as it gets. Someday, as no price or ship date is mentioned, although it's listed on Expansys for $750 unlocked. A few more shots after the break.

When just one phone watch won't do

Talking at your wrist looks crazy enough to passers by as it is. Talking at your wrist when your wrist looks like this -- well now, that's another story altogether. The second watch from the left is apparently the M800, the latest generation in the phone watch (and fashion debacle) lineage featuring a slimmer body, a 1.3 inch touchscreen with a stylus built into the wristband, integrated speakerphone, and Bluetooth. Again, though: why would you want Bluetooth when you can talk at your wrist?

E-TEN's VGA and HSDPA-packin' Glofiish X800 now shipping

We've had our eye on this willowy little minnow ever since we first gave it a proper once over at CeBIT earlier this year, and now E-TEN has announced that its everything-but-the-keyboard Glofiish X800 WM6 Pocket PC is finally shipping (we saw it unlocked on MobilePlanet for $650). Very similar to a number of 3.5G HTC devices already on the market, the X800 steps up the game by offering a sexy 2.8-inch, 640 x 480 screen, 500MHz Samsung processor, and dedicated SiRFstar III GPS chipset. Still, if you can hold out just a little bit longer, a QWERTY-fied M800 boasting the same specs is right around the corner.

E-Ten's Glofiish M800: a better X800 with QWERTY

As we noted back in March, the only thing missing from E-Ten's quad-band GSM, UMTS/HSDPA, and GPS packing Glofiish X800 was the QWERTY. No more. Meet the Glofiish M800, ready to throw down with the best that HTC has to offer when it hits Europe in late November / early December for about €599 (nearly $850) pre-subsidy. For that you get all the best of the X800 -- WinMo 6 Professional on a VGA (480 x 640) touchscreen, SiRFstar III GPS, HSDPA data, standard 2.5-mm audio jack -- but with a beefier 500MHz processor and 1530mAh battery and suit-tacular QWERTY in tow. Without a doubt, a worthy contender... on paper anyway.

Touchmate's Craz M800 with fake diamonds

The Touchmate Craz M800 Gold is touted as the "world's smallest mobile with built-in-diamond & MP4," and let's be honest, you can't beat that with even the heaviest stick. While we get the MP4 bit, we couldn't for the life of us find where the diamond actually was. Sadly, with a bit more research, grim realization struck, cold, hard, and fast: it's a "Swarovski Crystal Diamond," not a real diamond at all. After we got over the shock, called friends and had it stricken from our wish lists, we were able to get to the deets. The Craz M800 packs 128 MB of built-in memory, audio and video recording via USB (we have no clue), and a 1.3 megapixel camera, all wrapped in a spiffy leather tote case. No word on what band it is, or even what technology it is using, but let's face it -- in this case, that's just as well.
