Leaked Sprint roadmap reveals Touch Pro, Touch Diamond dates and pricing

From the looks of it, Sprint has gone and gotten a decent chunk of its playbook leaked all over the interblogs, and it's chock-full of titillating information. Thanks to slippery fingers and loose lips, we already knew that the Touch Diamond and Touch Pro were headed to the carrier, but now we have some solid dates (mid-September for the Diamond, October 19th for the Pro), and pricing ($549.99 and $579.99 unsubsidized, $249.99 and $320 with contract). Of course, this is all according to the above document, which admittedly could be the work of an extremely bored Photoshopper -- but this jibes pretty tightly with a lot of other chatter we've been hearing.

BlackBerry 8220 / 8210 KickStart outed, but not by RIM

Okay, pretend you had absolutely no inclination that this so-called KickStart was real. Surprise! E-tailer expansys has spoiled RIM's thunder (no silly, not that Thunder) by posting up detailed product pages for both the BlackBerry 8220 (WiFi) and BlackBerry 8210 (GPS). The current specs list points out a 2.6-inch 320 x 240 primary display, 160 x 128 pixel secondary display, 2-megapixel camera (with LED flash), video recording and a microSDHC slot. There's no price or release date listed for either, but at least you can shelve those worries of this thing never making it to market.

Motorola Atila gets leaked: think Alexander sans QWERTY

While legend has it that the Alexander possesses a beauty that only a mother could see, Motorola's Atila looks pretty sharp from here. The codenamed handset is said to be Alexander's non-QWERTY counterpart, boasting quad-band GSM / GPRS / EDGE, tri-band UMTS / HSDPA / HSUPA, a 2.8-inch QVGA (320 x 240) display, 802.11b/g WiFi, Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional and a Qualcomm 7201A chipset. Mum's the word on a price or release date, but we'll be sure to keep you in the loop.

iPhone briefly appears on T-Mobile Germany's website

Ruh roh. Looks like someone just got caught red handed. According to a number of sources who had their screencap fingers ready to rock, T-Mobile Germany will soon be offering up the iPhone in Deutschland. Apparently, the carrier actually had an iPhone-specific page hosted momentarily yesterday, and while it has since been yanked, evidence is everywhere. C'mon T-Mobile, you honestly thought you could trial the iPhone page without one of the 57,000 interested customers taking notice?

HTC Omni specifications unearthed

Hope you haven't forgotten about the elusive HTC Omni, as that self-coined Universal successor now has an (almost complete) lineup of specs to go along with it. The handset will reportedly sport a whopping 4-inch 800 x 480 resolution display, boast a slightly slimmer / lighter enclosure than found on the Universal, and will pack a 400MHz Samsung SC244X processor, Qualcomm MSM 7200 chip, GSM / GPRS / EDGE / UMTS / HSDPA compatibility, 128MB of RAM, full QWERTY keyboard, 802.11b/g, and Bluetooth 2.0. Unfortunately, one of the most anticipated details -- whether or not it'll boast VGA out -- remains unconfirmed, but at least we've got enough hard deets to assure us that this mobile should elicit quite a few grins when finally hits the streets.

Nokia N83 shot and specs

We still can't guarantee the N83 is the real deal, but it certainly looks to be taking shape, and New Mobile has a very slick looking front-on of the device with those same promising details: UMTS, 2.5-inch 352 x 416 QVGA display, 4GB drive, 5 megapixel camera, Bluetooth 2.0, FM radio, MicroSD, and 3.5mm headphone jack. The over the top specs make it out to be one of the hottest Symbian devices we've ever seen, which is exactly why we're not going to go getting our hopes up just yet that all those pie in the sky features are going to turn up roses.
