Verizon launches Flash-based "Dashboard" for snazzy content delivery
Verizon has launched a new "experience" (for lack of a better word), dubbed "Dashboard," that will eventually find its way across much of the carrier's lineup -- but lucky Chocolate 3 owners are the first to get hooked up. The Network's looking at Dashboard as an entirely new content stack that complements its existing portals, capable of delivering a richer experience thanks to its Flash-based roots; the idea is that content providers will be able to offer free and paid content side by side, seamlessly, without the user needing to jump between sites or apps.
