Selling your iPhone {The Unofficial Apple Weblog (TUAW)}
Aug 6th 2008 5:11PM Because the 3G's were sold out everywhere. I was 'prequalified' and could stay in line. The guy that bought man had been rejected by the Apple police and AT&T was sold out at the time. He just wanted an iPhone and said "how much for your old one?"

iTunes activation server pining for the fjords {The Unofficial Apple Weblog (TUAW)}
Jul 11th 2008 10:17AM me three. I did an early upgrade yesterday and my phone was crashing a lot so I figured I'd do an erase this morning and clean install with the official 2.0. That was before I read the blogs - I am stuck in 'new out of box' mode and everytime I plug into iTunes I get an 'unknown error -9838'. Greeaaat!
Also, the iTunes download page (http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/) is missing it's download links. hmmm.

Looking Forward to the 3G iPhone: GPS {The Unofficial Apple Weblog (TUAW)}
Jun 26th 2008 4:41PM "Cell Tower" Positioning is better than WiFi (Skyhook, Navizon). Look up TDOA. It is the predecessor to A-GPS and what AT&T is currently using to be FCC compliant. Accuracy ranges from 3m-30,000m depending on site density, terrain, etc. etc. GPS's are installed at cellsites but get they your location via timing. GPS is only reference.
