Jul 15th 2008 12:33PM I havent see the EEE Pc or MSI wind, etc, in many retail stores. I am assuming Dell will sell these in BB and other retail locations like its other laptops andl will get much more exposure than any other netbook. Combined with the lower price point, I think Dell has positioned itself nicely to lead this market segment.

Jun 27th 2008 9:45PM 1. I wouldnt have 6 different versions of windows. One or two versions - keep it simple.
2. Applications built into windows should be the best. Example: Windows Defender, Firewall, etc,..are ok programs, but everyone knows they need to get a better anti-spyware and firewall on their computer. eliminate the need to look elsewhere.
3. exert a bit more control over the hardware windows gets put on by manufacturers. Part of the problem with windows performance, is people buying underpowered computers thinking windows should run fine because they are getting it from dell/hp/sony/etc

May 22nd 2008 12:52AM I think palm is heading in the right direction with this one. It looks pretty good and I think they can push a few of the door. People can hate on the centro all they want, but they have sold well. Palm is not dead just yet.
