Jun 9th 2008 5:51PM but something no one's mentioned yet.... the best thing about my garmin 660 is the loud ass speaker!! if the 3g iphone's speaker is as pitiful as the current version, you'll have to constantly be looking at the screen rather than listening for voice prompts!
i've never used a tom-tom, but i guess you connect your iphone to your car's stereo and listen to music which would get interupted by a voice prompt when a turn is coming up? what about cars that still don't have simple aux connections?
i really like my nuvi, but carrying less devices when traveling through airports would be much nicer.
