Oct 14th 2008 12:19PM We posted a 7.5 minute long demo video of the Krave ZN4 in action. It's a really hot device - I am really impressed by the touch sensitive nature of the plastic flip.

Two flavors of hot: differences between Sony Ericsson X1i and X1a explained {Engadget Mobile}

Oct 9th 2008 7:43AM Sony Ericsson confirmed to us earlier this week that neither X1 will support the 1700MHz AWS band required for T-Mobile's 3G network.

Originally, both variants of the X1 were to have 1700MHz support. The initial press release back in February said as much. They have changed their plan, though.

Penny for a thought: HTC's Advantage X7510 {Engadget Mobile}

Aug 8th 2008 11:02PM Well, since I appear to be the only person on the planet to own one....

I'd change the keyboard so that the sound could be disabled while keeping the vibration feedback it offers. I would put either a joystick or scroll wheel of some sort on it. Flush mounting the display would make it far more finger friendly, too.

If I'm really gonna ask for the starts, I'd make the keyboard slide out and somehow permanently attached. The device is just so bulky with the leather cover on, and the magnetics are not strong enough to keep the keyboard in place without it (it will slide off when removing it from a pocket, for example).

Nice device, but really few scenarios where it makes sense.
