Cellphone inventor says they've become 'too complicated,' rock-n-roll too loud {Engadget Mobile}
Nov 6th 2009 6:20AM I see your point, but what I mean is on a daily basis. I'm pretty sure you don't carry your camera around with you all the time, and yet on some occasions, isn't it useful to have your camera phone, even if you're not taking award-winning pictures?
Furthermore, when portability is key, it's not always ideal to carry around a laptop for the sole purpose of document editing and internet!
Cellphone inventor says they've become 'too complicated,' rock-n-roll too loud {Engadget Mobile}
Nov 6th 2009 4:23AM That's too bad that the "inventor" of the mobile phone thinks that way. If he had thought like that in the 70s, then we might not have had the mobile phone. There's absolutely no point in carrying multiple devices when one converged device can do all the same things in a more portable, efficient, and elegant manner.

Nov 4th 2009 7:56AM Why are pretentious pricks so quick to condescend on the underdog? Stop judging a book by its cover. Yes, T-Mobile had an outage yesterday, but guess what? iPhone users experience outages on a daily basis on the network with "more bars in more places."

Nov 4th 2009 7:53AM I agree! How can you honestly use 29 specimens as a gauge for all members of a species? Just because you see 29 immature teenagers in a room, doesn't mean all people are immature teenagers--why should this follow for a scientific conclusion?

Oct 25th 2009 12:29PM Can you be even more of a pretentious prick? What's wrong with having a "lay-away" option? It allows people to get the phone they want with or without a 2-year ball-and-chain. I'm sorry that you're opposed to offering people that option of spreading out payments instead of leaving a large, lump sum hole in their wallets, whether or not they can afford it.

We're just going to pretend that you understood that "inches" is acting as a verb in that headline, and that you're being obsequious for "fun."
