Has to be said this won't be a proper smartphone - downloadable apps would be likely be limited to Java and BREW (yep, both available ...and on a GSM phone, just like the existing 3skypephones) it compare nicely to the iphone imho, but I'd rather have a G1.

Oct 17th 2008 10:14AM The original Skypephone was actually made by Amoi, as I believe this one is, and yes, it's not a patch on a Nokia N or E series but it's not meant to be.

May 6th 2007 12:18PM I would definitely like one of these, even though I'm not a developer and would never use the SDK. A 3G/UMTS version would be nice. I just wonder if any of the UK networks would offer it when Trolltech decide it is ready for end-users. Wasn't sure on the colour, but it's beginning to grow on me...
