Verizon's BlackBerry Curve 8330 in pictures {Engadget Mobile}
Apr 23rd 2008 12:16AM whether this phone ever came with wifi or not it would never even matter since RIM expects all BlackBerrys to be paying for the data plans either way. I mean I can understand the use for it when you can get higher speeds with a wifi connection but still RIM ask all carriers to pay for Data so I really don't see the point for it if I have to pay it which isn't a problem for me but I think its silly. Im sure even this topic has been spoken before on any wifi capable device for RIM but it is a gorgeous device though. The Sprint color is better and cooler looking which is the only huge difference. Still love the Network though.

Nov 17th 2007 12:49AM Wow is the phone really dumb let me check on that one. NO Have you even touched the device probably not. DO we care if it has pda functions and excel spread sheets only business people need. I can care less. I used it today And it was by far an amazing phone went to myspace espn. Spectacular on it. screen not glass. Though the keys may be smaller than that of the Iphone this is one sick phone. And I love it and no one can change my mind about it no matter how much vzw haters out there who which this phone was in there carrier. Thats all for now.
Verizon's BlackBerry Pearl 8130 now available for pre-order {Engadget Mobile}
Nov 1st 2007 2:57PM Research In Motion the company who makes the Blackberrys have it with every Carrier that they need a data package to activate one of their phones in a network. Atleast thats what I was told with a few friends who have blackberrys with at&t so Ive herd it before and form what I know its not a carrier option but a requirement to selling the product RIM has with its carriers. If RIM found out phones in any carrier didnt have data packages they can sue the carrier. So if you have a blackberry with no data package and you call Customer service and they see your not billing for it. hope the rep doesn't notice otherwise they have every right to put a data package in there.

Oct 31st 2007 10:30PM If your interested in looks and nice overall phone with at&t then iphone if your more business and office person then the tilt. You know I really don't care about UI and how crippled it can be. I gave a person a vzw phone and an at&t just basic phone and the vzw was easier to navigate through it. I personally prefer the easy to understand vzw UI. it gets old but its about what people understand more and whats easier for them u don't like it then stay away from big red. I personally dot care and ill use whats easiest for me. This phone decent looking. IM looking forward for the voyager though. I cant say its the iphone killer because I dont know but at this point the only thing that can potentially come close to an iphone and that depends on how much work is put into it if there is any is the Gphone,, possible form google. maybe its a rumor or not but just get what best suits you if you don't like it go somewhere else.
