I work for vzindirect, and our reps have been frantic with every release of new information of the iPhone. it's almost funny to hear the fear in their voices, even though they simply parrot what their VZ sources tell them, instead of actually researching it for themselves. one actually quoted that the iPhone only had 8 hours of battery life... right....

May 4th 2007 4:38PM So, would the alerts via GPS be sent to the hand-set HOLDER, or just the relevant authorities? that may sound great, but what would actually happen if levels were detected? MASS PANIC. On the other hand, imagine the lawsuits that would abound if the gov't knew you were being exposed to radiation, and didn't inform you?
