Nokia N97 vs iPhone... Fight! {Engadget}

Dec 2nd 2008 4:48AM Really? I have no idea. I know how to spell Avatar.

Nokia N97 vs iPhone... Fight! {Engadget}

Dec 2nd 2008 4:41AM Really? I could have sworn that the iPhone was one of the more powerful and fully featured phones on the market hardware wise. I mean, I was told it could play 3D games and handle graphics that rival that of portable gaming devices. I really seem to fail to see how a $100 phone can come close to that. Oh, must have been one of those crazy fanbois. They just spread around all kinds of crap, seems like thats all fanbois do. Oh wait, sorry, thats what you are doing.

Nokia N97 vs iPhone... Fight! {Engadget}

Dec 2nd 2008 4:34AM I'm sorry, but to say the only good thing about the iPhone is the touch screen and that the new Nokia shits all over it is being a fanboi in its own right. The Anti-iPhone-Fanboi-Fanbois are the worst.

Nokia unveils flagship N97 phone [update: video!] {Engadget}

Dec 2nd 2008 3:51AM Not going to lie, have an iPhone, love it to death. However, some of these specs make me drool. I'm not too keen on the interface, I would take the iPhones interface any day. 5 MP camera though. Mmm. Looks like a forward facing camera too. Nothing to get me to jump the ship, but every time a new phone comes out I get closer to it and only hope Apple can throw something else out to keep me. Ahh, the joys of competition, it brings the best of all the companies involved. Nice to see Nokia being a player again, at least here in the states. I remember the days everybody had a Nokia and played Snake while in the waiting room. That begs the question, does it have snake?

Apple ponies up free Mini DisplayPort spec licenses {Engadget}

Dec 2nd 2008 3:32AM I agree with what somebody else said. Since DisplayPort has not been widely adopted yet, Apple could potentially make it the standard by putting it on all their notebooks. I mean, Apple may have a small market share, but when the entire line of notebooks has one thing in common, it has a dent in the market. Look at built-in webcams? How many laptops had those before Apple decided to put them in all their laptops? While I agree with compatibility, there is really so little to be compatible with at this point, mini-DP vs. the normal connector isn't much of a fight. It will be interesting to see if Apple takes it's desktop machines to mini-DP

Reviewers rave over Bolt in 3D: did you see it? {Engadget HD}

Dec 1st 2008 6:21PM I saw it, but not in 3D, I didn't realize until after I bought the tickets that we didn't get tickets for the 3D showing, which was fine, as my local theatre charges $4 extra for glasses "rental" And that is an up front cost, so you can't even bring your own. Sorry, im not THAT willing to see it in that 3D to pay $4 on top of $9. I probably will give in and see it soon though, I loved the movie so much I would see it again.

Nokia teases major new product launching tomorrow {Engadget Mobile}

Dec 1st 2008 6:17PM I am willing to put money on it being an attempted "iPhone Killer."

Black Friday Giveaways (part 10): the LG Prada phone {Engadget}

Nov 29th 2008 2:28AM My Best Friend's phone just bit the dust a month before the contract expires, and she doesn't have the money for a new one. This would totally go to her.
