Good points. I'm actually not an Apple hater at all. I'm sitting here typing this on my Mac with my iPod plugged in charging, and even then I'm not sure I'd consider myself a full Apple fanboy. I was mainly responding to the fact that some people who are Apple lovers won't give any other electronics a chance because they aren't made by Apple, even though they might have superior technology.
Like what you said about the Macbook Air. Honestly it is the most beautiful looking laptop I've ever seen and I'd bet you that it would win dozens of design awards, but as for functionality and price it can't hold up to the competition out there.
Then again look at the Apple iPhone. When I first saw it revealed I didn't think it would make it very well, but I was wrong. It's design and interface were (and are still) revolutionary and have already been copied countless times.
So clearly Apple knows what they are doing. And they know people like pretty electronics, but so do a lot of other companies out there. This will hopefully allow Apple to really live up to their full potential.

Feb 20th 2008 1:56PM This is all very true. I admit that I enjoy Apple products, but there are some other products that are more advanced and (dare I say it?) better than some of the products Apple has out right now.
