Nov 30th 2008 2:11PM The damn thing happen to one of my favorite films Terrence Malicks "The Thin Red Line" with the Michael Bay's "Pearl Harbor". They used the same Han Zimmer soundtrack on Pearl Harbor. . It was the main real reason I skipped the seeing it.

Sound Off: Who's Watching the New 'At The Movies'? {Cinematical}
Sep 16th 2008 5:34PM I tried to watch the first 5 minutes or so and found myself squinting from all the bright orange and yellow....horrible. That did it right there, on top of the new guys I had no idea who they were. I watched the old show because I knew the guys and it scratched my itch of intelligent people talking about movies. Roeper staying on and bringing guests was a nice twist while Ebert was away. It was nice to get to know AO Scott when he was on as well. I am hearing that Roper will be back in some form or another and thats where I will be going..

Jul 21st 2008 2:46PM Sad news....I still love this show. But, I can see how a change is needed. A huge Ebert fan, I actually started DVRing this show after Ebert left. I will follow Roeper to whatever next show he does.
I do see this show as still relevant because I just like to sit back on my couch and listen to these guys talk about movies. On top of that, I was able to get to know and appreciate other film critics like A.O. Scott of New York Times. This show will be missed.
