Aug 7th 2008 3:47PM with you on this. I don't think I could care less about the Olympics if I tried. I don't remember who had the story... I think NBC, or maybe it was in the New Yorker... the basic idea being that the story at the Olympics is not the games themselves, but China in general. If there is one thing I'm interested in is how China will react to what will be going on. and presently, they don't "disappoint" - heavy-handiness, brutality, closing down access, etc. Got to love a communist system :)
