Sep 26th 2008 2:13AM Well another good thing to look at is wordpress iPhone app source code. They have released it even tho the NDA says they can not. You can grab the source code here: http://iphone.wordpress.org/contribute/ via SVN and its a great way to see what others are doing.
Its always good to look at the source code of a working program so you can get an idea how others code and if you have previous coding experience things start to get clear in making the translation.

Aug 19th 2008 5:55PM Great cameras, but yes they break way too easy. I have an G9 and an SD400. The G9 is right now at Canon for repair because some dust ended up in the lens and the marking started to come off. And the SD400 LCD cracked just by putting it in my pockets and I ended up having to buy an old one from Ebay to fix it.
But the shots it takes are great and they are pretty simple to run.

Oct 17th 2007 2:52AM Ouch.. Well I guess I am going to take my old Gateway 2000 PII out and pour her a 40 as last honors.
Gateway was actually a victim of just being ahead of the time. They where the first to see Media PCs, i remember them pushing really hard there living room systems. The only problem was, well, at the time they where just regular computers with really big monitors and crappy res. No real internet, nothing.
And now look today with AppleTV and Windows Media Center.
Gateway we will miss you (that is till you come back as rebanded Acer's)

Jun 27th 2007 5:19PM Interesting bit on the 14 day return policy. In CA, if i am not mistaken cell providers are required to accept a phone returned within 30 days. So apple might be pushing for 14 days, with 10% if opened it wont fly in CA. The whole idea in CA is to allow you to "test drive" the phone at home and places you visit to make sure the phone works for you.

Jan 7th 2007 9:29PM The real selling point of the Treo is (to me at lest) is the touch screen AND mini keyboard setup vs. other devices like the Dash, Q, and Blackjack where you only have to use the keyboard to get around, or with the 8250 where its only touch screen unless you pull out the keyboard.
I just like the keyboard for calling phone numbers which i dont have stored, and its right there no need to slide something out for some two hand action.
I am a tero 650 owner and i loved her till she came to a early death due to some mis treatment by me, so i might be attached too much to the whole Treo line. But i too am a little upset with the lack of new things like WiFi and Bluetooth 2.0 almost push me towards the 8250. I am thinking of maybe using CA law of allowing you to return your phone within 30 days if your unhappy with it and try both and see what i think.
