Jun 26th 2007 9:24AM Of course Apple could sell these for $800, they could bloody well sell them for $1000, but that's not the point. At those prices they'd move maybe 100-500k and maybe turn an eventual profit, but those aren't the numbers Apple is looking to move. They want millions of these purchased, and at $800, it'd be almost impossible to reach those kind of sales.

I really consider his "consulting" little more than short-sighted self promotion. I can go around making outrageous statements too, it doesn't make me an expert.

Jun 20th 2007 9:02AM I'm surprised that a very pro-American Sarkozy allowed this to go forward.

That is, if this isn't some sort of silly hoax or comment taken out of context. I mean, if a government doesn't allow certain devices to be used in federal buildings, they're more than within their rights. Using smartphones in a work environment is a privilege, not some inalienable right.
