Disney plans to keep the DVDs packed in w/ Blu-ray through next year {Engadget HD}

Aug 15th 2009 11:24PM Good, there's only one TV in the house with a blu-ray player, an included dvd gives a lot of extra flexibility.

And now, I really only made this comment to say I hope they bring Ponyo to blu-ray.

StarCraft II delayed until 2010 {Joystiq}

Aug 6th 2009 12:38AM And anyway, it couldn't have less features. It would have to have fewer.

Sorry to be that guy...

Review: Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince {Cinematical}

Aug 5th 2009 11:55AM Yeah, I don't think the battle would have been too redundant, especially as they are making the last book into two films, so there will be a buffer film between this one and the final battle. But at the same time, that battle really was not that important in the book. So Bill gets bloodied up, and Harry's friends fight. The battle was mostly in the background as Harry chased Snape and the Death Eaters out of Hogwarts. I thought I would miss that battle until I saw the movie, and I really didn't care about it not being there.

Japanese researchers develop baseball playing robots, Mark Buehrle reportedly unimpressed {Engadget}

Jul 24th 2009 4:42PM Buehrle's not about hitting 90 every time. It didn't stop him yesterday. I still can't believe I was at that game- so amazing. I'm counting on it to keep distracting me from the fact that the Sox lost to Detroit today. Oh well, it's a double header.

Apple / Google relationship being investigated for antitrust violations {Engadget}

May 5th 2009 12:03AM Wow I actually was just studying for an AP test for US History and read about the Clayton Antitrust Act's creation. How surreal.

Microsoft boasts that 96% of netbooks now run Windows {Engadget}

Apr 6th 2009 10:32PM "when you can make money from an outdated technology, that's pretty smart in my book."

Just like the Wii! And I'm pretty sure Nintendo has made some money from it.

Nintendo DSi now available in North America {Engadget}

Apr 5th 2009 11:20PM On the topic of mushy buttons, I find it funny that the new buttons are more clicky because the original ds had clicky buttons. Why'd they ever change them? (though personally, I like the buttons on the lite, so I'm fine with it).

Apple previews iPhone OS 3.0, adds copy and paste, Spotlight search, plenty more {Engadget}

Mar 17th 2009 6:30PM Maybe, but is that really the reaction you have after this series of announcements? Apple didn't do anything amazing, but they actually addressed the majority of complaints about features the iPhone is lacking. Your comment would have made more sense last week with the Shuffle.

Senate okays digital TV transition delay to June 12th {Engadget}

Jan 26th 2009 9:06PM Am I the only one who doesn't really care? So I'll have to endure some more annoying ads for the transition, but there are plenty of annoying commercials anyway. Why is this such a bad thing?

Memorex MVBD-2510 Blu-ray player sinks below $100 {Engadget HD}

Jan 19th 2009 10:06PM That's cool, but right now the price of the movies is more of an issue. Sure, it's possible to get them cheap sometimes, but I went to best buy and target today, and the majority of blu ray movies were $30.
