Doesn't sound very thought out at all.
Why not just release on microsd? Oh yeah it can be pirated just like this version will be. Whatever you call it DRM is bad, and face it- people like to own things that they buy.....

Their telephone deals are more expensive than the local networks. Just google "carphone warehouse" and customer service and be grateful it hasn't sullen your shores
Do yourself a favour don't go near them or ANY of their services.

Nov 16th 2007 10:32AM An absolute gem, perhaps the pinnacle of the windows mobile platform. This would have been a dream machine 8 months ago. In a post Iphone and upcoming Android era, I would never take this phone on board unless the promised me or indicated that there was likely to be an android software update for it. Frankly I have tasted the better ui fruit and I want more. Speaking as a long term windows mob fan (since the beginning of the orange spv range), I hope that they look beyond the current win mob clunky interface and problems.

Oct 12th 2007 6:03AM Isn't windows based and IPhone like a contradiction in terms. Unless Windows mobile have shelved current development plans, for the next version of windows mobile(which was previewed a few months ago) ther ain't no way that they are getting close to what the iphone looks like.

Sep 18th 2007 6:07AM Apple sucks bad. Fancy chargin us more than the original usa price even before the discount. I guess I will wait for nokia ripoff or the microsoft one which is no doubt coming out in January or February.

Sep 17th 2007 8:13AM I am sure that they will charge a hefty premium to get so much of the revenue back and probably tie users into a 2 year contract, but as with the USA launch I am going to wait a month or two, as I am sure unless the phone is priced reasonably with a flat rate data plan and reasonable contract length, most users will give it a miss. Nokia and the others will no doubt bring out their iphone copies by early next year so will happily set on the fence till January or even Feb next year. The great thing about the iphone is that it will really jump start the mobile market which has been languishing.

Aug 20th 2007 11:37AM I would bring back easy ways to view the computers network settings a la windows xp where I could see the ipadd, subnet gateway and dns from right click on network connections properties--> support. Now the only way to do this in vista, is to go back to do dos(so much for an upgrade)
