Dec 5th 2007 11:09PM Back to my Mac works fine for me. The "home" computer is connected to an airport extreme running in bridge mode connected to another airport extreme. The other end has either been on my university's wireless network, or my home network (fios and dlink routers). The only thing that doesn't work correctly is copy and paste. Not exactly sure how the send/get clipboard commands funciton.

Oct 6th 2007 10:27PM Hotel School strongly advises against getting a Mac because of certain software. Same thing for Johnson School. Engineering recommends PC over Mac, see http://www.engineering.cornell.edu/student-services/academic-advising/orientation/computer.cfm.

At Cornell, I'm not aware of any department that requires a Mac, while quite a few require PCs for proprietary software. (Especially in the Engineering and Hotel schools)
