Nov 7th 2007 4:02PM The thing is, verizon traditionally likes using it's "v-cast" menu system, and also likes to cripple phone-computer links like bluetooth and USB, and so I would assume that they would have to change both in using this new OS.
I acknowledge I might be wrong in the words stated above.

Jun 16th 2007 2:46PM Have you ever heard of the "normal distribution?" _Exactly_ 50% of a large enough sample will have an IQ of 100 or below, and _exactly_ 50% of a large enough sample will have an IQ of 100 or above. Yet that's beside the point. A Mac G5, G4, or a G3 will _still_ run leopard, yet it will run somewhat slower, and without some of the special effects. And yes, 64-bit processors will work seamlessly with leopard, yet you do _not_ need a 64-bit processor to use it.

Apr 20th 2007 4:04PM Something simply gets me about having a robot crawl around on the surface on my heart, and what it does will determine whether I live or die. I understand that it could be vital to someone's life, but it seems to me that this is not the most comforting way to save it.

Apr 20th 2007 4:00PM What happened to the good old paper MAP??? Cars these days are cluttered with so much useless stuff its unbelievable. People should just try sleeping instead of vying for a built-in DVD player. People should just print out directions from Mapquest before they go on a trip. Not only that, but the pounds of gadgets this would eliminate would lighten the car, getting it somewhat better mileage. I am not putting down KIA as havign made a bad concept, for the essential features of the car (especially the scissor doors) seem to be a good idea to me. However, I would rather have an airbag on my steering wheel with directions being held in paper form by the person in the passenger seat than having to stare at my steering wheel trying to find out when the unit wants me to turn left.

Apr 20th 2007 3:53PM This is a good idea, as it allows radio towers that you find all over the place in cities to be able to help you find your position. The main flaw of GPS is that the signals cannot be found in cities, where the tall buildings block the signals. If the signals can be delivered from within the cities themselves, then you would be able to know where you are without having to use GPS.

Apr 20th 2007 3:35PM It seems odd to me that the entire format war between HD DVD and Blu-ray will depend on whether the chinese characters above will be translated correctly or incorrectly. I honestly hope that this will be over soon, however selling them at Walmart for $200 apiece will most likely not solve the problem. It will create a larger problem over who translated it in which way, and in which way they are affiliated with which party...

If they are going to do anything about air travel, they should arrange the seats so that there are four seats placed around a circular table, and then repeated many times so that it almost seems that you are in a restraunt more than it seems that you are flying at 515 miles/hour.

Apr 17th 2007 5:19PM Just another excuse to make air travel more humiliating than it already is. First, they figured out how to overbook flights to gain money and bump people off to other overbooked flights. Then came 2001, and they decided to add "random" full body searches. And now, they are going to pack bodies into a plane to the extent that it feels you are flying in a hearse over the Atlantic, except there are 500 coffins instead of one, and the bodies inside them are alive.
