Sep 8th 2007 1:03PM Here in Birmingham, UK I seem to be getting EDGE on T-Mobile on the old Web 'n' Walk plan. Anyone else seen this?

Jul 27th 2007 9:42AM Works well on the T-Mobile MDA Vario in the UK. If you only use Y mail, search and Flickr, it's a godsend - but if (like me) you couldn't do without google, you'll find yourself slipping into PIE too often for this to be worth it.

May 31st 2007 8:34AM An interesting & very useful technology - I'm considering the Finepix F31 for this very reason, low light shooting.
Though - why is the flash being demonstrated by William Shatner?

Feb 22nd 2006 5:38AM I'm in the UK, and I've also had one for months. #34, try the "keypad" link on the bottom left softkey when you're in a call - voila keypad.
All in all it's a great phone, but not perfect. Data is also v. cheap in the UK, albeit only at GPRS speeds, and connecting to GPRS takes a little while.
Main crit for the phone is a slow CPU - changing from landscape to portrait, which you'll do a lot, can be slow. More: although the hardware can do 802.11g, the MDA version is locked to 802.11b.
But when it gets to working it's fantastic. Install Opera Mobile, turn off images, and you can have all the data you want. Even MSN or IRC (PocketIRC) connect on the move - combine this with the full Qwerty keyboard and it's magic!
