Jun 17th 2007 12:43PM Hrmm Nobody reads the article, they just say the speakers must have been cheap. If you RTFA, apparently they were fairly expensive speakers, and he was doing some sound work on some low source audio (so yes the volume would have been cranked up) with his phone next to one of the speakers. Phone gets the wake up and ring signal... buzz, pop goes the speaker!
