Nokia's Z-Wave Home Control Center hands-on and video {Engadget Mobile}

Dec 2nd 2008 4:05PM Cool automation. UI needs work but the concept is sweet. Controlling my house through my cell phone?! That's a geek's dream!

But for those pop-up ads during the videos - could they get any more FuCkInG annoying?! I don't think so. They're at max annoyance level right now.

Silicon Touch: an iPhone case for the visually impaired {Engadget Mobile}

Dec 1st 2008 5:51PM THAT is an iPhone condom! Kinda defeats the concept of an aesthetically pleasing handheld like the iPhone when you wrap it completely in silicone. Protection is one thing, turning your iPhone into "bubble-boy" is another.

Keepin' it real fake, part CLXIX: the iPhone gets flipped {Engadget Mobile}

Nov 27th 2008 9:59AM There you go again Engadget, condoning and supporting piracy! This site is the piracy companies' best friend. You give them more free press than any ad agency ever could. And that, my friends, is both condoning piracy and supporting it. I'm sure you'll placate your consciences (if you have any) by saying, "But.....but.....but.....we only report what's out there.....". I bet that if you keep repeating that mantra to yourselves for long enough, you may actually convince yourselves that you have some integrity left. But you don't. You've gone from trusted writers and opinion-makers to shills and ratings whores. But hey, if you don't report it then somebody else will, right? ::rolleyes::

Samsung launches BizBee family of business-oriented smartphones {Engadget Mobile}

Nov 26th 2008 3:57PM BizBee? Wasn't he the guy in that TV show, "The Courtship of Eddy's Father"?

Nov 25th 2008 2:51PM Awethome ------- and completely gay.

Meizu M8 Flash demo hits the scene, looks mighty familiar {Engadget Mobile}

Nov 23rd 2008 4:47PM Why does Engadget keep giving these chinese pirates a single word of press?? I think this site is their best ally in spreading their knock-off, copyright-infringing, intellectual property-stealing propaganda. They should just fire their advertising company and pay Engadget!

e-Volve Gadget Shoulder Holster: the ultimate man purse {Engadget}

Nov 18th 2008 9:25AM He's trying to look all "bad-ass" in the photo. Bald head, serious expression, all butched up. But then he's holding his hands in such a way that it makes me believe he's been on the wrong end of a blowjob or two.

Vertu's Signature S Design gets handled -- gently {Engadget Mobile}

Nov 11th 2008 5:18PM This thing is butt-ugly and the technology is so 2002. I don't think it's worth $123, let alone $12300.

The only Vertu I consider attractive at all is the Constellation, and like the other Vertu phones it's SO not worth the price. But I suppose there will always be those that step off their private jet, whip out their mobile, and berate their domestic help from thousands of miles away. And to that crowd, there is only one phone to use: Vertu.

The better part of Nokia's smartphone roadmap goes on display {Engadget Mobile}

Nov 11th 2008 9:45AM I don't know that the "Vassini" project was, but the code name is for a character in "The Princess Bride", played by Wallace Shawn. http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0001728/ The character's name is correctly spelled "Vazzini", fyi.

INCONCEIVABLE !!!

AT&T BlackBerry Curve 8900 on eBay, not cheap {Engadget Mobile}

Nov 8th 2008 10:20AM This is probably one of the pre-production units with a sticker that says "Property of Research In Motion. NOT FOR SALE". Bad idea to buy one. Besides the insane price, RIM always disables the PINs of these devices the second the model goes on sale to the public. The ones with disabled PINs get no data services - forget email, PIN messaging, web browsing, etc. Once disabled by RIM the device will do telephone calls and SMS messages only. This happens with every single model RIM releases these days. Some dishonest developer or RIM employee peels off the warning sticker and has his dirtbag cousin or butt-buddy from high school sell it on eBay. Don't get involved!
