Oct 3rd 2007 6:02PM Umm, this is probably one of the most useful articles I've found on this website. Can we get more stuff like this?

We're giving away a signed My Name Is Earl script! {TV Squad}

Jun 25th 2007 2:45PM When I was in 8th grade, there were some 6th grade girls that had crushes on me. I indulged them all year, accepting Christmas and Valentine's Days gifts, writing back after they sent me notes, etc, etc. During the last week of school they sent their yearbooks home with me to sign. My friends and I spent the 1.5 hour bus ride home coming up with things for me to write, including an expletive-ridden manifesto as to why someone as cool as me would never go out with the likes of them. I believe the terms four-eyed, metal-mouthed, flat-chested and pony-lovers were included as well.

Waterston looking to become the next D.A. on Law & Order {TV Squad}

Jun 6th 2007 4:46PM I could see McCoy as an interim DA, but I don't think he would ever run. He's too much of a cowboy, a rogue element. That's what makes him so awesome. Robinette running for D.A., THAT would be drama, and I think he would have the credentials having been a lawyer on both sides of the aisle.

Fred Dalton Thompson will run for President {TV Squad}

Jun 1st 2007 4:07PM Jim: Damn! That's funny!

I always liked Thompson on L&O, his character seemed real - more so than Weist. I didn't really care for his character, but I don't hold that against Thompson - L&O is a drama, not a documentary and Thompson doesn't write the episodes.

As for helping with the defense of Scooter Libby, so what? He also helped bring down Nixon, sounds like the guy is about justice and not politics - which is kind of what being Libertarian is all about.

And for his replacement,..... did we forget the nod towards McCoy for a recent episode? Not that he would/should take it. Where did Robinette go to? That would be interesting.

Will it blend: video camera tapes its own death {Engadget}

Apr 6th 2007 3:10PM Joe V and Apple:

I've done further research, which is really overkill for a situation such as this, but I digress. I thought you might find the following informative.

Anthropomorphist (http://cancerweb.ncl.ac.uk/cgi-bin/omd?query=anthropomorphist&action=Search+OMD) would have been a more appropriate term to use. However, given the vernacularity of the post on this sight, anthropomorphic is still quite applicable, especially we consider the first definition of the first listing on this site (http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/anthropomorphic).

So, indeed, "anthropomorphic type", and the comments pertaining there to, would be most appropriate and keen, considering the content of the video.

Sincerely,

Apr 6th 2007 2:53PM I used "define:" in Google and it pulled that up. I have now read the article and she no reason to change my stance. Do you see things differently?

Apr 6th 2007 12:43PM I think he does:

Anthropomorphism, also referred to as personification or prosopopoeia, is the attribution of human characteristics to inanimate objects, animals, forces of nature, the unseen author of things, and others. "Anthropomorphism" comes from two Greek words, ανθρωπος, anthrōpos, meaning human, and μορφη, morphē, meaning shape or form.
