Apple is good at one thing, and that is making money. Why do you think they sell their mp3 players for 2x the price of any other company?

Dec 31st 2007 2:58PM Well, your information is not quite accurate. There is indeed a set of buttons that if pressed during activation can render the device DOA. All service centers were told if they saw one of these units to swap the device.
The LG Rumor is currently shipping in the blue/black color and is still out of stock in the white/silver color. Both colors including the new green color are all expected to be in stock in the next 2 weeks for ordering from all channels.

Sep 13th 2007 6:00PM I agree that it is too open. All of the current carriers have to bid in spectrum in each region they want to use certain frequencies. This would allow a company to operate in ANY market. This gives them a great advantage in not having to try to buy the frequencies in the specific markets they are trying to gain coverage in.
