Nokia promises "a lot" more phones in the US, we say "orly"? {Engadget Mobile}

May 5th 2008 1:27PM The LIAM with support for T-Mobile's 3G would be a nice start. Honestly. It'll never happen .

T-Mobile 3G goes live, with data (kind of) {Engadget Mobile}

May 2nd 2008 10:35PM Hope they get some newer HTC devices. The current stuff is OK but so slow compared to my E51. I thought the shadow would support the 1700Mhz bands but I went to a store in Sacramento today the sales guy and I only saw the "E" light come on. I'm a sad panda.

3G iPhone to be discounted to $199 by AT&T? {Engadget Mobile}

Apr 30th 2008 2:10AM Rumor I heard was 199$ for the current 8GB model. From an unreliable source at work who never heard of the 3G iphone until I mentioned it last week when we where talking about the cisco ipsec/vpn client. Anyway, my E51 is more useful and less likely to get me mugged. pfffft.

Nokia inks $2 billion phone deal in China, shareholders unimpressed {Engadget Mobile}

Mar 9th 2008 2:09PM Maybe more people are importing MORE Nseries with proper wifi, rather than the hobbled no-wifi "domestic" versions? There may also be a lot of political issues with TD-SCDMA's failure.

Flash on the iPhone: Apple has Goldilocks syndrome {Engadget Mobile}

Mar 6th 2008 12:56PM I was under the impression the open sauce libav/libavcodec can decode/play flash. It seems to be working on my N80 and E51.

AT&T feels a little left out, launches unlimited plan, too {Engadget Mobile}

Feb 19th 2008 2:43PM Did I read somewhere that unlimited txt/data/voice is something like 60$[usd] per month in Sweden? What is happening to people in the USA? btw - where is my 200$ N95 from AT&T?

Nokia E51, now sans camera {Engadget Mobile}

Feb 7th 2008 6:59PM I just got a black steel E51 for 299 USD. I've seen another place carry it for 275 USD plus shipping. I'm really happy with it but I want to keep my N80 until Opera Mobile works properly.

Samsung's G810 smartphone does Symbian, HSDPA, the dishes {Engadget Mobile}

Feb 4th 2008 1:33PM The S60 UI which runs on top of Symbian is licensed from Nokia so either way Nokia gets paid.
