Sprint's instincts tell it Instinct will be available come June 20 {Engadget}

May 22nd 2008 10:02PM Require everything. Stay out of the retail stores. They know nothing. That would be like saying you have to get the "data plan" if you buy a blackberry. WRONG.. Sprint will sale this phones at any level. It's a FRIGGIN phone. Not the 2nd coming fo christ (like people thought of the whyphone). And didn't some due in Japan just say the iPhone sucks. Just like WiMAX is dead? psst, japan guy..

May 22nd 2008 9:59PM Well, since you suggested. When my bars go away, I have no service. So, I went with someone who had MORE bars in MORE places.. Sprint.. ;-p

Refurbished iPhones are an excellent source of previous users' data {Engadget Mobile}

May 20th 2008 9:27PM Please say your kidding. Just the notion that you think this way of apple (that they can do no wrong) is what's wrong with this world today. BLIND ACCEPTANCE BECAUSE OF THE NAME. If you do, then your a idiot. If your kidding.. good one.

May 20th 2008 9:26PM Do you really thing the idiot whyphone users care about this. But hey, the phone is "cool" to "play" with.

Sprint falls in line, caps "unlimited" data at 5GB {Engadget Mobile}

May 20th 2008 7:56AM It's just simply amazing when changes are made like this, of all the people who blow smoke and say "I'm switching to.... for my aircard needs".. Well, just don't say it. Do it. It doesn't make buisness sence to do this but Sprint is shooting itself in the what feet it has left. So, if anyone from corp is reading this, thanks. The idiot to proposed this should be fired and the current plans be left alone.

The only REAL reason they may be doing this is to get people onboard with WiMAX when it starts getting deployed. I would rather go with AT&T for BB service vs VZW. I'm sure AT&T's network will rock when 3G is all over the place..

May 20th 2008 7:48AM They don't have to advertise. They are all over the place or are you that blind you never seen it?

As far as the cost. Yep.. they look the same.. however, Sprint's network in most major markets is much better then VZW (that is when you can get a signal)..

AT&T's 3G comes out on top in speed tests, will only get faster in 2009 {Engadget Mobile}

May 16th 2008 2:05PM Well, this group did a one on one test and Sprint came out on top. But most people are right and the mag needs to do a little road trip to do it right, not one city area or lab. But in my travels. I've seen Sprint work better the MAJORITY of the time over everyone else. Plus what they seem to forget, they are cheaper and no caps unless your roaming on data. Then it's starts to look like Verizon.

Sprint acknowledges that crack is good, or Instinct is bad {Engadget Mobile}

Apr 23rd 2008 11:52PM Having spent many days "in the woods" with people using just about every service out there (VZW, AT&T (cingular), TM, TRAC, Sprint, Nextel) While watching VZW and AT&T users walking around, bumping into trees, stumbling over rocks, etc.. trying to get a good signal for text or data service (so, what is "roaming on enhanced network" anyway?), Only the Sprint guy was able to get weather warnings of approaching tornados on his EVDO phone. After seeing that, I paided the ETF then went to Sprint. And I'll say this much, from my experience of travel (CA, HI, MI, KY, OH, FL, GA, KS, MO, IL, WI, MN, PA, Washington DC, VA), I never recall loosing service with my Sprint. Roaming or not, When it comes to data roaming, I don't care what provider Sprint it using, it works and that's something VZ or ATT can't claim. And from what I've seen, can't do either. Nuff said.

Apr 23rd 2008 11:40PM Just like the iPhone. I can see your point.
