PS3 Video Store provides more reason to avoid DRM {Engadget}

Sep 22nd 2008 5:49AM Well, just another reason I backup my own DVD's!
I buy them thus I own a copy of that movie.

These DRM'd downloads will soon die if enougth people stop using them!

I wont use the XBOX 360's or the PS3 (or PSP). I will continue to rip and enjoy!

And for the HD/BluRay's I own - I will just download HD Rips from the inter-web!
Job done!

Mar 14th 2007 6:37PM In out company, when ever we buy a laptop or desktop, we just format the hard drive and install the corp edition of XP.

In the company we support - they do the same!

And what laptops do we use? Umm - Think-pads all round!
So, this will be a waste of time on all our machines as it will never be seen!

1) Take machine from packaging
2) Turn on machine
3) Insert Corp XP disk
4) Select format c:
5) Reinstall
6) Install corp software
7) Give to user
8) Rejoyce at not being dictated too!
