Jun 9th 2008 7:57PM A cheap Iphone is good for consumers. Period. Apple charges 20 bucks for the required internet package which is in line with other carriers. If the iphone goes the way of the razr, good. The razr forced every other maunfacturer to create better phone designs. This is already happening b/c of the Iphone. For consumers this is a win-win.
Except for the elite SOBs in their ivory towers. You lose.

I got a deal for ya. Instead of paying all that moolah to Mario I can save you money. I'll send you some bricks and a piece of wood plus my instructional tape. I'll yell that you're off balance every once in awhile and tell you to do tai bo moves. It will be just like the Fit except with better background music.

May 15th 2008 6:40PM If this is your primary computer, then stay away from the CloudBook / Eee / 2133 Mini-Note types. You'll being kicking yourself everytime you have to squint at the screen and wait b/c of their lack of power/performance. If this is just to take to class, then get your mini on.
Your best bet is a 15"er. Small enough to still carry around and take to class, but still functional for eveyday. Depending on how much you want to spend you can get a ton of power and options too.
Whatever you do, don't be the guy taking the 17"+ laptop to class.
