HP Envy 15 unboxing and hands-on {Engadget}

Nov 10th 2009 8:15PM I agree. If Apple offered a 1440x900 screen in their 13", or (at least) a 1680x1050 screen in their 15.4", I would have one by now. Even with OS X's Expose, it just feels too constricted. I love the 12" 1400x1050 screen on my tablet.

Nov 4th 2009 5:22PM GT2. Had a wicked car list and a good feel, and graphics were amazing at that time. GT4 has the car list, but somehow feels more sterile.

Is this a next generation ThinkPad, or the cruelest Photoshop ThinkPad fans have ever witnessed? {Engadget}

Nov 2nd 2009 4:05AM ...except that it's a 4:3 aspect screen. While I would love to believe they're returning to 4:3, Lenovo has stated repeatedly on their blogs that the cost is too high. While I might believe them returning to a 4:3 ratio for their high end ultraportables, the cost would certainly be too high for an SL-line ThinkPad.

Unless this is indeed a new, high-end ThinkPad ultraportable. Then: eugh. I might be more inclined to accept it if it didn't have the "look-at-me" glossy white case and knew that the chiclet keyboard felt the same.

RIM posts job listing for 'WebKit Developer,' gets one step closer to a real browser {Engadget}

Nov 1st 2009 5:34PM I would rather have a Blackberry and be stuck with RIM's browser, than have an iPhone and be stuck with Apple's e-mail app.
