Nov 11th 2009 11:09AM Install these on subways,trains, and airplanes, and distribute them on microSDs so that people with smart phones can watch them on their commute, and then pop them into their TVs when they get home to finish the move. Then you'd have a hit.

Windows Mobile 7 'Maldives' test program reportedly on track for Q1 2010 release to OEMs {Engadget}

By your logic, "Who needs to see what airplanes have to offer, we already have trains."
or
"What's this new fangled e-mail all about, we already have the post office!"
or perhaps more fitting
3 years ago when Apple first released the iPhone, did you say "Who needs to see new Apple's iPhone, we already have Windows Mobile, Palm OS, and Blackberries."

You see where this is going?

First iPhone worm rickrolls jailbroken phones {Engadget}

Nov 9th 2009 1:24AM @ Jack

You're just as ignorant. WinMo has never had any REAL viruses or worms...

They were proof of concepts... similar to what this guy did, except they were only released to the public as in the case of the iPhone. They were for testing purposes for Antivirus companies, and they couldn't run unless you specifically allowed them to. Since then, 5+ years ago, WM market share has fallen, so I doubt any virus writer would bother (just as they don't bother for Macs).... Windows, similar to the iPhone both have a lot of market share, so they are where virus writers focus their attention.

How would you change Windows Mobile 6.5? {Engadget}

Nov 7th 2009 12:19PM Don't know where your coming from, but TF3D, is in no way superior to SPB on WVGA. It is the most annoying two handed, swipe based UI I have ever used. To do anything on the phone I have to stop whatever else I am doing and start swiping...taking care not to overshoot...which inevitably happens anyway. Just let me access what I need w/o having to concentrate on a gimmicky time-consuming interface. Everything is literrally 2-3 seconds away in swipe time. UGH!

I'd take PointUI (yes there is some swiping, but you can easily put what you want on the first page with the right applet), SPB, or Titanium, well ahead of TF3D in terms of usability for someone on the go and limited time for "swipping games".
