When you are looking at Autoblog's route, look near Calaveras Reservoir and you can see a Airliner that got caught by the Google maps satellites.

Jun 4th 2008 7:45PM They brought an economist on local KC news and he claimed that while 1.4M gallons seems like a lot of fuel, we (as Americans) consume almost 23M gallons per day. He thought it might raise local prices a bit here while supply was short, but would not affect national gas prices. Also- when they say it closed the airport, it closed the downtown airport where all the Corporate Jets are, not KCI.

GT-R DCG shifts in 0.2s in "R" mode.
At best, a race driver shifting a short-throw manual can shift in 0.5s.
In a normal lap around Nurburgring you shift say 100 times. That's 30 more seconds of acceleration! This won't reflect a 30 second slower lap time, but I bet it easily makes up a 10 second difference.

Apr 7th 2008 7:12PM I went to test drive an STi the day they put this in effect. big fat bummer! Hope they get this resolved, I really had enough on my hands trying to convince the wife this was a good idea before the stop sale... talk about an up-hill battle!
