Spotted: Curve 8900 running on AT&T {Engadget Mobile}

Jan 9th 2009 11:34PM I hate to kill the dreams of fellow AT&Ters, but this doesn't look promising. First off, the keyboard is not the updated version. Second: check out all of the review videos on Youtube (from the recent CES event). They are ALL T-Mobile versions of the phone and all the people mention is T-Mobile as a carrier. I'm not saying that this device is NOT coming to AT&T (although the idea of them FORCING people to 3g devices and then releasing this would be a little odd), but I wouldn't expect it anytime soon. If I saw videos of the device being used that day, then I would have some more faith in it being released soon. This just seemed too perfect - as if they WANTED someone to get a shot of it, and then take it off the floor - to keep us AT&Ters salivating over and continue the talk about this beautiful device....

LG Secret, Motorola VA76r "Tundra" confirmed for AT&T {Engadget Mobile}

Dec 18th 2008 7:13PM True true......that would be amazing (but highly unusual).....

LG Secret, Motorola VA76r "Tundra" confirmed for AT&T {Engadget Mobile}

Dec 18th 2008 7:02PM Urgh....

After looking at this (and reading the dates: December 26 - January 24) I'm assuming that us AT&T customers WON'T be seeing the highly rumored Blackberry Curve 8900 anytime soon.

Why did I read this? This kills all my thoughts of getting one of these placed under my Xmas tree. Oh well....guess I'll keep on waiting far into the new year.....

Cinematical Seven: Most Overrated Actors {Cinematical}

Apr 24th 2007 11:13AM Ok - This just pisses me off. There are people on there that SHOULD be there, and others that were left off (TOM CRUISE). But Tom Hanks should NOT be on that list, and I don't think Robin Williams should be put ON it (and Jack Nicholson -- just because he hasn't done a "good" movie in 20 years doesn't mean someone is OVERRATED - LOOK AT THE TITLE OF THE ARTICLE!). He has done GREAT roles (same as Williams - Patch Adams is one of my favorite movies). If we're really pointing fingers at stars that have done "bad" jobs on movies, why not go after Will Smith or Tom Cruise, who are clearly into the $ of a blockbuster than supplying something with substance.
Just look at the TITLE of the article before you make a choices - and Mr. Anderson -- I think you should either review your list and think some of those over again, or hand the movie critiques off to someone who KNOWS movies. Just a thought...

The Least Anticipated Films of 2007? {Cinematical}

Mar 2nd 2007 10:44PM I can understand with most of those choices. However, I think "Rush Hour 3" deserves a chance - you have to admit that when the first two came out (or at least the first), they were pretty big (maybe not so much now I must admit - but at the TIME they were big).
ALSO, the fact that you put "Hairspray" in your Least Anticipated List is a HUGE question in my book. I'm sure you need to be into those kind of movies (which you are probably not - as you ARE in anticipation of the second Fantastic Four (for some strange reason)), but with an all-star cast of John Travolta, Christopher Walken, Queen Latifah, etc. etc. (plus some "introducings....") - I don't think it will be as bad as you expect. Especially with the current success of "Dreamgirls" - I think the movie musical may be making its comeback into the cinemas.
