Rumor: iPhone coming to Canada on December 7th? {Engadget Mobile}

Oct 28th 2007 1:58PM Obvious fake.

The dead giveaway? The fact that the word "Apple" has a (copyright symbol) instead of an (registered symbol). Copyrights are for creative or intellectual works. Registered trademarks are for identifying legal business entities, such as Apple, Inc. Any corporate copywriter would know the difference between and , but I guess the Canadian iPhone fanboy who mocked up this ad didn't.

RIM experiencing another BlackBerry outage? {Engadget Mobile}

Sep 7th 2007 10:10PM It's now past 10pm EST and I still haven't received any mail through BIS on AT&T in NYC.

I've sent service books and performed hard resets several times throughout the day. You suck, RIM. Maybe I should go pick up one of those $399 iPhones I've been hearing about.

"Missing Sync" for Mac OS X / BlackBerry about to hit shelves {Engadget Mobile}

Mar 2nd 2007 3:34PM "Actually, RIM has offical GIVEN AWAY software to sync a blackberry with a mac for over 1 year!"

Yeah, and it sucks. I've been testing MissingSync for BB. There are a couple of minor glitchs that need to be resolved, but Mark/Space seems pretty confident that they'll be cleaned up in time for v1.0 by the end of the month.

Missing Sync for BlackBerry Preview Released {The Unofficial Apple Weblog (TUAW)}

Feb 28th 2007 1:44PM "What will Missing Sync offer for BB users for $40 that can't be had with PocketMac for BB for free?"

For starters, how about an app that actually works? Pocketmac for BB is awful. It hangs, quits unexpectedly, and half the time it doesn't recognize that my BB is plugged in.

Missing Sync for BB has a few bugs too, but it's still only in the preview stage. The Notes syncronization feature is nice. iPhoto and iTunes integration (if you happen to have an 8100 Pearl) is a nice bonus too. Assuming they get the kinks worked out, I'll have no problem spending $40 for a decent piece of software.
