Motorola and SE pinpointed, may face tough time "weathering the storm" {Engadget}

Nov 17th 2008 10:05AM yesh, c139. what a piece of junk. Even worthless busted. I entered it in the broken phone contest engadget had, and it did not win.

Blast from the Past: iTunes 1 {The Unofficial Apple Weblog (TUAW)}

Dec 4th 2006 12:50PM actually, someone cooked up a haxie for versions 1.0 and 1.1 that will make it work under Mac OS 8.6. Hell, i'm still using Sundjam MP on 7.6.1 to organize my music. Too bad the "upgrade" button and "web" menu are now defunct, since Cassedy and Green went out of business. I also wish visualizations were full screen, rather than this nasty looking "windowed" mode.

Nokia 6030 hits T-Mobile {Engadget Mobile}

Sep 27th 2006 3:57PM dont dump on the 6030. It is a very nice basic phone for peeps who dont wan a camera/bluetooth/vidoe/music player/missle launcher. I was about to get this thing on cingular,as my contract is up in 16 days, and a very horrible v180 AND v220 experience as my first phone(s). This one was looking very tempting as I was about to say "screw you camera", but when I walked into a cingy sore, I saw a LG cu500 and fell in love with it's 3G goodness, so THAT will be my next phone, but my heart will always be with the 6030 as it is the underdog. go, little guy, go!!

Aug 18th 2006 3:04AM I, for one, welcome our oily Japanese robotic overloards.

Engadget Podcast 084 - 08.15.2006 {Engadget}

Aug 16th 2006 5:02PM well, I really think they are obtrusive. I really think you guys would benefit from becoming a public service. in my last ad rant, I even offered some tips/suggestions on how to generate revenue that isn't evil (sorry, but having ads spit in my face everywhere I go is very evil). at the very least, get some RELIVANT ads for your target audience who are into gadgets, not motor oil. I am really surprised that all the banner ads on this site don't bring in enough cash to support both the hosting AND the podcast. hell, being owned by AOL (which you always reinforce at every possible chance), you should get enough money from them.

once again, this is just an analytical opinion, so don't take it personally.

Engadget's Cleaning Out Our Closet Contest {Engadget}

Aug 16th 2006 4:46PM I REALLY need the orange SPV e200. I got raped by Cingular last year in Febuary. they sold me a USED and WATERDAMGED motorola v22 0, so they refuse to repair it. the camera doesnt work (of course.) the audio in circuitry is flaky (half the time the person on the other end cant hear me.), the case is falling apart, and it already had a million scratches when I got it. to top it off, it wnt charge unless I hold the charger in with my thumb, and it takes about 6 hours to fully charge, where the battery doesnt last but a day anyways. also, CIngular said themselfs when I signed the contract that I could upgrade for free in 18 months, which would be October of this year, but when I called them to find out about upgradying, they changed it around to say it was 36 months, not 18, which would make it Febuary of 2008. that's a long way off to hold on to a phone that's a piece of crap in the first place. I have been looking into phones, but nothing I like in my price range (which is almost $0 because I a broke as hell, but that come with being in college.)

so, you can clearly see that I really do deserve that phone the most, dont you agree?

Aug 16th 2006 2:27AM once again, I must complain about the ads. please remove them. I have having ads everywhere, even in the dang urinal!! hell, I use adblock plus religiously, and, if I could afford it, I would own a DVR just to skip over the ads. I really hope you listen to people like me, or else you wont have an audience soon.

Happy birthday, Airport {The Unofficial Apple Weblog (TUAW)}

Jul 22nd 2006 2:37PM well, my first wifi was way back in 2002. when my mother got her new laptop (a toshiba), we got a free wifi card and router. the laptop DID have built in wifi, but it died somehow. unfortunantly, both the card and the router are dead too.

currently, we finally got a new DSL modem with built in wifi 3 months ago. my mother got a new card, I got a new card for my powerbook G3 (wallstreet), and everyone's happy.

Engadget Podcast 082 - 07.16.2006 {Engadget}

Jul 17th 2006 8:29PM no, I understand ads are critical on TV, but a podcast used to be a free and independant medium, free of ads, corporate sponsorship, and chalk full of good stuff. now thier stuffed with ads. it's like product placement, "special" sponsored sections in a newscast, and sproting events. just trying to place an ad every where they can, until it is nothing but one big commercial.

Engadget Podcast 082 - 07.16.2006 {Engadget}

Jul 17th 2006 5:08PM well, if your gonna do ads, could you atleast get some relivent ones? or, at the very least, possibly open up donations for people who dont want ads, and for people who dont donate get the cast with ads? just throwing some ideas at you.
