Sep 23rd 2008 2:01PM As long as this supports USB Mass storage ill be all set. I dont need a headphone jack, as I'd be using it in the car, and my stereo has a USB port. But massive fail for the no jack though, even more fail for only 8GB storage, BUT its removeable.

Sep 5th 2008 4:57PM This plastic-y build quality is upsetting. I had an N78, and hated the horrible plastic-y feel to it, and it squeaked when I tried to type on it, it felt like a child's toy that might shatter into pieces if i dropped it.

Jul 28th 2008 11:10AM I just picked up an FW series, without Blue Ray, and 3GB RAM with the 3470 card for 1080 shipped. I have a corporate discount and that 1080 price doesnt include the $100 ill bet back from using sony card.
So basically I got it for $980.
I did saw the exact same model I ended up buying at Best Buy for 1149, without blue ray, 3gb ram, and 3470 video card. Its a gorgeous laptop, the screen in person is vibrant and crisp, I'm no longer going to be using my 17" 1280x1024 monitor on my desktop, I can deal with the 16" wide screen and the higher resolution.

Nov 29th 2007 10:23AM I had an imported phone for a while I used with Att. It was 3g capable, but i almost never had a 3g signal. a 3g iphone wont do much good if i cant get the proper signal. it would be good of att to coincide the release with a larger rollout of the 3g network.

Nov 2nd 2007 2:58PM I have comcast, and using the "work around" methods on the net, I have proven that i get slower connections when downloading without the work arounds in place. Its a matter of simply checking a check box, and i can see the change, it was weird to actually see it happen, and I was like, oh shit, so THIS is why my P2P downloads have been sucking lately.
