Jun 21st 2008 10:53PM My family uses my PS3 quite a bit. About 80% of the time its to watch DVDs, but they do play games like Hotshots Golf and Pixeljunk Monsters. As long as the price remains competitive the PS3 will be family friendly to a certain extent.
Not as much as the Wii, but I don't want a majority of the games available to my system family orientated. However, I consider the PS3 and 360 to be about the same family friendly wise. 360 has games like Viva Pinata and Vampire Rain that appeal to families. I'm kidding about Vampire Rain by the way.
LittleBigPlanet could be a huge draw for famalies if Sony gets the word out.

Jun 20th 2008 6:02PM One thing I've noticed about the Japanese market is that they are very aware of the gaming world. In other words, they know when games come out and get them week one. The following weeks the sales drop exponentially for all systems and their respective games.
Case and point, Japan is full of nerds.

Jun 20th 2008 3:13PM I think Sony needs to stop assuming people who bought a PS2 will buy a PS3. Heck, I had an Xbox but didn't get a 360.
But hey, his job is to assure current and future investors that Sony is going do well.
