Nope. Only works with Euro 3g. According to Wikipedia , regulators have freed up some of the 2100mhz specturm in the states to be used for 3g services. T-Mobile, reportedly will be adding 3g support in this spectrum this year. If that happens we should be able to use 3g with our N80's on T-Mobile.
The N80 only supports the 2100mhz spectrum.

Oct 12th 2006 9:27AM Well, it would be well deserved if they won. Transmeta, was just shy of being destroyed by Intel, using tactics that could easily be considered monopolistic practices. The bitch of it is, transmeta had a better product. The technology was really amazing. Everytime transmeta was about to land a big deal, Intel swoops in with massive kickbacks.
But luckily for Intel, theyve spoonfed AMD over the years to be their one competitor, so if any antitrust litigation is thrown their way, they can point to AMD as an example of competition.
Any new start-ups in the CPU market, like transmeta are doomed from the beginning.

Sep 5th 2006 10:26AM Your first mistake is assuming they created this as a deterrant. Call me cynical, but this is one of those magic scenarios where politicians can create a new tax, and the majority of people are happy about it.
