Confirmed: Rock Band $170 on Nov. 23 for Xbox and PS3; PS2 version coming Dec. 10 at $160 {Joystiq}
Sep 28th 2007 7:09PM Does anybody know what the buttons equate to on the 360 Drum controller?
A friend and I are building a Drummania ASC for PC use this weekend, we were going to use a PS2 controller like we have for every other specialty controller we've built, but I'm starting to think building it on 360 hardware might be more worthwhile, since we'd be able to use it with Rock band when it comes out.

Cingular to take on AT&T name as buyout approved {Engadget Mobile}
Jan 5th 2007 12:59AM There will be NO MIGRATING and the plans will be the same. From what I understand, Orange SIMs/Devices will be interchangeable with NewBlue SIMs/Devices. Don't quote me on that.
But I am certain there will be no Blue/Orange Migrating again. That was too much of a pain and Cingular has admitted (plenty of times) that it was more of a hassle than it was ever worth, but it had to be done because of all the different billing systems that were absorbed when AT&T became Cingular. To get everything running in unison, it had to be done.
Fast forward to 2007 and there are STILL two separate activation systems for Cingular -- CARE and TLG. Even so, it's not that big of a deal and the systems are transparent to the consumer.
But as far as this goes, the only things changing are name and image. It is purely a superficial change. I'm still unclear as to *why* they are doing it, but from what I understand it has to do with people having more faith in the AT&T name than in the Cingular name.

Dec 19th 2006 12:12AM So it's compatible with Wii?
Where exactly does the sensor bar go?
IMHO this is the closest (and cheapest) way to get "immersive" in home VR. Imagine encasing a room with IR diodes, holding your Wiimote in front of you, donning a pair of these glasses and playing Call of Duty 3?
I would love it. As you turn around, your character would respond. Man I NEED a pair of these! (And a TON of IR Diodes!)

Nov 28th 2006 9:13AM 1.) The tunnels are a pain. Most people do have a hard time understanding the lane changes. Hell, I can't undestand why I have to start in the left lane to end up in the right at the end of one of them.
2.) Isn't it illegal to drive while talking in that state?
3.) Mass-holes. Now there will be more in the dig.

Sep 23rd 2006 9:44PM Now how can I tell you what my favorite XBOX 360 game is if I never had one?
I'll tell you on my standard xbox (because I'm so poor and deserve a better console) I'm a big fan of Lego SW 2. Not because it represents any real challenge (or any challenge at all, for that matter), but because it sticks to (and parodizes, at times) the original story line so well, and it's so cool to watch it in lego-mation.

Aug 23rd 2006 11:12AM Man I LOVE my Airflow controller for my XBox. The thing feels great and playing for hours without sweaty hands is a very good thing. Plus I was lucky enough to snatch a full set on clearance at like $9 a piece.
