Jul 25th 2008 6:20PM Assuming you want a working smartphone and not eye candy, go with the Treo800w or the upcoming 850. Lot more bang for the buck than an iphone. A lot of the 3g phone out there look good but between the battery life and the slowness doom them for any real world work, Palm is getting back into the game with WM and actually gives me some hope for Nova if they can get it out the door. Apple's cluster F*&! with activation, buggy apps and Mobile Me has given Palm some breathing space. Bottom line, any phone with a removable battery is always going to have better battery life than the iphone or any other phone with a non-removable battery.
