May 29th 2009 10:54AM HA- you beat me to it. Its quite a conundrum though. Verizon will have to release their lock on GPS's for their high end phones in order to carry the PRE. (remember when they said they were going to unlock the GPS on the Touch Pro and the Omnia?).
It will be interesting to hear the excuses they make for disabling everything on the PRE. without a doubt I believe they will cripple the RAM.

May 19th 2009 3:17PM I'm going to be impressed if this is true. An OLED screen will greatly improve the iPhones battery life. It should be interesting to see the impact considering the exhaustive research into the older gens battery life some sites have gone into.

Winmo ITSELF has a lot of issues with memory leaks. 6.5 will be a welcome change from 6.1, the number of times I had to restart my phone to reclaim some lost memory was ridiculous.

May 12th 2009 12:04PM My guess? The failure was in some sort of software glitch related to Verizons services itself. Is there a VZ software store on that phone? Some sort of "get it now" service where you can buy ringtones for the price of a CD?

seriously, a resolution of 1024 x 600 is just awful for todays modern applications, I would probably just increase all these netbooks to at least 1280 x XXXX.
