May 30th 2008 9:22AM I always assumed there would be a "google app store" of some sort. What I love about Android is that anyone can write a program for it. Lets hope major companies get the hint and don't exclude apps that aren't in their own stores.
That being said, I can totally imagine the execs at Verizon, etc having major fits at this very aspect of Android. The "walled Garden" concept is a antiqued idea and should be shot and buried.

May 10th 2008 12:02PM The only reason I'm not a huge fan of this phone is the OS. I suppose I could get used to the differences between this and other phones. But one thing that seems to be present in all the reviews is the frozen menus and temporarily unresponsive touch screen.

I'm a Verizon Customer, and its kind of sad that the whole reason i want a Smartphone is that i don't have to deal with Verizons Poorly developed, ugly, non intuitive crippling OS.
Maybe someone can get Android working on this phone?

May 2nd 2008 6:29PM A great deal of these problems have to deal with the integration of sp3 into a install disk of XP. For Volume license users it wont work- It corrupts the mechanism that verifies a VLK key. In other words- The problem only seems to affect business customers/ owners.
I guess I can understand why they are delaying the release of the service pack, but its still a pain in the butt for us average Joes.
