Nov 9th 2009 5:34AM Etisalat in UAE is pretty much a life contract, but the perks are good as you can upgrade to the latest and greatest annually in the gulf-state.
Palm Pre price keeps sinking on Bell, down to $100 {Engadget}
Nov 9th 2009 5:32AM Bell, Telus, and Rogers ATT can offer phones at $0 but with a 36month contract and sky high phone prices owning a smartphone in Canada isn't a smart.
BlackBerry Bold 9700 hands-on and impressions {Engadget Mobile}
Nov 8th 2009 12:08PM I don't understand what getting this phone would do, unless you're buying it straight out on Rogers Wireless for $599 is a better deal than the $649 for the 9000. As for all the specs it's the same except you lose the 1GB of onboard memory and you get the OS memory upped to 256MB from 128MB. Currently I own an 8900 which is pretty much a Bold 9700 sans the 3G and leather backing as I'm running the current OS 5.0.

Nov 7th 2009 6:58AM I bought a 360 awww, no wait it died and got a PS3 so it's all good. Now if I could only build a vortex to get US deliveries into Canada.

27-inch iMacs having performance issues? {Engadget}
Oct 29th 2009 8:39PM For all fan boys yes Apple computers do break down and have software corruptions you have to be stupidly naive to think not. I have actually downgraded from Snow Leopard as I deem it not ready yet.

Apple will officially support Windows 7 in Boot Camp before end of year {Engadget}
Oct 23rd 2009 2:15AM I've been using Windows 7 on my iMac since I September 25, that's when I got the Snow Leopard disc which has Bootcamp 3.0 on it. It's ok as an OS but one thing I cannot understand from Windows is why it cannot adjust in font and size when it comes to larger screens. I'm using it on a 24inch Aluminum iMac and I have it set with 104% or 100dpi font it makes the OS much nicer on the eyes. Mac OS seems to adapt well when it comes to larger screens with Windows it's either 96dpi which is pretty small or 125% which is too excessively large.
Telus joins the fun, gets itself an iPhone this November {Engadget}
Oct 6th 2009 10:58PM It doesn't matter who get's the iPhone in Canada it's all the same you pay so much for so little. Fido maybe the better option by a slight margin.
