iPhone firmware 1.1.3 video walkthrough posted {Engadget}

Thanks for the info, I didn't know you were able to update to the new firmware (is it even out yet?) on an iPhone that was 'jailbroke.'

Now for me to wait patiently for a way to update to the 1.1.3 firmware on a sim unlocked iPhone and not brick it.

Dec 31st 2007 10:34AM It's really neat to see the cell tower triangulation in use, that's for sure. From looking at the map, looks like he’s near the corner of N 185th St and Aurora Ave N in Shoreline, Washington. The neighborhood looks like it is a suburb midway between Seattle and Lynnwood along the I-5.

But I'm really confused; when did the iPhone come out for a network by the name NATE? (See the network ID at the top left corner of the iPhone in the video) Is there anyone in the neighborhood north of Seattle familiar with a network by that name? Because I’d be really interested to find out if they are a nationwide network that offers the iPhone.

I’m just sayin'...

Oct 6th 2007 4:58PM Actually, the cheapest T-mobile plan is $29.99 a month, 300 any time minutes, unlimited weekend minutes (no night time minutes) plus $19.99 for the internet plan. which brings your total to $49.98 a month. In fact, it's the same plan I'm using with my unlocked iPhone.

Sep 17th 2007 11:07AM It is a shame T-mobile's initial selection of UMA enabled phones were complete garbage. I used the Nokia 6086 for all of a month and was not impressed with the hardware. I know, just wait 7 more days, and T-mobile supposedly is going to finally make public their UMA enabled Blackberry. Too little, too late if you ask me.
