Giveaway: have an iPhone on us! {Engadget}
Jun 30th 2007 2:52PM What I would look forward to the most is dead guaranteed syncing of PIM data with my Powerbook. Currently I'm suffering with WM5 and have a kludge setup to sync with Gcal and then sync to Mail2Web for Contacts. Icky as hell since that means two address books.
Plus the iPhone would tide me over until the FIC Neo1973 running OpenMoko comes out. :-)

Jan 10th 2007 9:08PM My first car was a '77 MGB, and this makes me sick to my stomach. I need to go and lay down.
Another win for TiVo: Cox partnership pans out {Engadget}
Aug 24th 2006 3:42PM Gee, just *last week* we moved our TiVo Series2 into the boudoir and "leased" the Cox HD-DVR. So the moment I saw this story I was jumping for joy and emailing the wifey at her work... Guess what... They gave us the Scientific Atlanta box. If this is only for the Motorola box I'm going to go all postal up in the nearest Cox retail store. Hmm... I may stop by there this afternoon and start throwing a temper tantrum until I get answers. My Cox is cravin' some TiVo lovin'!

Apr 6th 2006 1:52PM Another happy and proud IBM Model M keyboard user. Coupled with uControl to remap the Ctrl and Alt keys to match the position of Command and Opt on my 12" Powerbook, it is heaven... but...
I still end up using the Powerbook keyboard more often. Yes, it is just about the best laptop keyboard and the Model M is just too frakkin' big to use all of the time with the Powerbook. Most of the time the IBM is connected to my Windows "server" box.
Daily use: Powerbook keybaord
Long writing sessions: IBM Model M
Now if I ever were able to track down the elusive ergonomic/split version of the IBM? Oooh man! I'd be all over it like a drunk frat boy on a coed.

A slew of Tech Faith Wireless Windows Mobile phones {Engadget Mobile}
Apr 3rd 2006 11:52AM Damn, here I've been working on my wife to convince her that the i-Mate SP5/Qtek 8310 is the be all, end all of what I "need" in a phone... And now these beauties pop up? Argh! Of course they probably won't be available for a while, they probably won't have the RAM/ROM specs listed, and they'll never see the light of day state-side, but that won't keep me from getting a tech-chubby over them.
Imation's -- yawn -- carabiner flash drives {Engadget}
Mar 27th 2006 1:20PM Hmm, I'm not teenager (I'm 34 years old) and what do I have clipped to my belt loop right now? A mini carbiner with a 2GB Sandisk Micro and a 512MB Lexar Traveller. This "form factor" is exactly how I carry my flash drives every day. The much stronger integrated loop for the ring is smart.
But, I'd rather that is was made by Corsair Memory, which will definately be the maker of my next drive.
Day 30 of Engadget Mobile's 30 days of cellphone giveaways {Engadget Mobile}
Mar 14th 2006 4:03PM I'll try one more time... I love you so much EngadgetMobile but we never go out anymore, you never give me presents. I'm not saying that I will go somewhere else, frankly you are the best I can get but I'm really worried about our relationship.
Hands-on with the HTC Hermes / T-Mobile MDA Vario II {Engadget}
Mar 9th 2006 3:56PM Hey, that's pretty... unfortunately it is also pretty thick (unfair to place it next to a RAZR) and assuredly pretty expensive.
$10 says it'll never make it officially to the USA.

Mar 8th 2006 5:11PM Paint it blue and add a siren on top and I'd buy it in a heartbeat.
