Jun 9th 2007 2:00PM just to be fair, it could be on Microsoft's side as well. For a whole week my store bought retail Vista would show that message every time i reboot the computer even though it was activated. When I decided to read some support instead of calling them I found Microsoft has huge support articles on that as well.

Jun 5th 2007 4:20PM I was in 2 of the CompUSA that were closing in California (one in Oxnard, one in Burbank). There were a lot of opened boxes, that kinda tells me everyone else but this guy checked what's inside. I even saw people who were purchasing the cell phones from behind the counter checking what's inside as well. As much as I feel empathy for this guy, CompUSA did have big signs that said all sales are final (and not to mention you are buying from a liquidation store), he should've been more careful

May 29th 2007 11:14AM If you read the statement throughly, under #5 they stated "However, the Company would like to reiterate that as general business conduct, the Company will not comment on specific customer,order or any types of confidential information" The news was merely a responce to the media reports, so there's still 50% chance that it's not Quanta.
