This just in: California 'cool car' law may hose your iPhone reception {The Unofficial Apple Weblog (TUAW)}
Oct 13th 2009 10:02AM I thought this "law" was proven to not be real or go into effect?
Remember that 'No Women on Top Gear' thing? Forget it. Hammond wants Angelina {Autoblog}
Sep 11th 2009 7:50PM Angelina Jolie is one of those women that looks beautiful only when make-up is involved. Personally I'm not impressed now, nor ever.
And let's be real, how many of us know a significant number of women who know a crankshaft from a camshaft? I can count on my hands the number of women I know that know what the pesky lamp looking light means...

Sony unveils slimmer PS3: $300, lands in September (updated!) {Engadget}
Aug 18th 2009 2:06PM I was going to pick up one of the 160BG PS3's, but the Slim has got my attention. Just to make sure, the ONLY difference between the Slim and the 160GB is the size of the hard drive and most likely the ability to replace the hard drive right?
Texting makes kids dumb -- science fact! {Engadget}
Aug 13th 2009 2:55AM There's validity in the calculator statement though. Don't believe me? Go to a retail store and buy an item In cash when the registers don't work. Watching a teen struggle to figure out the tax is probably the most fun I've ever had at Blockbuster Video lol.

Aug 13th 2009 2:48AM I've always felt that ever since AIM became popular, and people began shortening words online, the average person's overall comprehension of the English language began to suffer. How many posts on any given forum before you run into the wrong version of It's, There, Were, and To? This generation has access to more knowledge over a cell phone than our parents had in their neighborhood libraries, but apparently, using an apostrophe is too difficult to decipher. My news feed on Facebook drives me insane!
I've proof read a few college papers from peers in the past, and I was shocked at how many times I came across "cuz" instead of because. As someone said before, I see correlation, but I'm not entirely sure it's causation.

Aug 4th 2009 12:35AM Uh... What company DOESN'T refer to itself in 3rd person? Especially in adverts?
TUAW Poll: What would you do if an iPhone 4G rolled out on Verizon? {The Unofficial Apple Weblog (TUAW)}
Jul 29th 2009 3:19PM Having been a part of pretty much every US Carrier, I can say with ease that the grass is almost never greener on the other side. I'd look at contract pricing, whether they lock down the OS, coverage in my area, etc.
Of course, none of this really matters because if millions of people switched to verizon using more data than any of the other phones combined, they'll probably have just as many problems as AT&T...
Autocar first to get a crack at wheeltime in the Lexus LF-A. Sort of. {Autoblog}
Jul 11th 2009 9:06PM I think the same thing about people who pay over 1 Mil for a Bugatti Veyron. Who would spend that much on a souped up VW?
/sarcasm.
