Nokia N78 for North America hands-on {Engadget Mobile}
Jun 5th 2008 5:34PM I've been playing with a test N78 for over a month now, and it's a pretty decent phone if you can get over the keypad.

The GPS works well, although you have to subscribe to navigation.
the updated interface is nice, but there's not much change other than appearances.
Overall I really dig the phone, it took me a couple of weeks to get used to the keypad and some of the newer functions though.
Nokia's iPhone gets a name, say hello to the iPerformer? {Engadget Mobile}
May 8th 2008 5:45PM The tube is apparently the codename for a smaller touchscreen phone. It's supposedly the size of a Nokia N73.
This "Iperformer" (seriously doubt that's the name) is the answer to the Iphone. I hope that's not the name...I'll abandon nokia all together.
I hate to add another negative, but by the time this gets released in the U.S., the Iphone version 5 will be out and then Nokia will be playing catch up again.
LG Vu officially available from AT&T {Engadget Mobile}
May 5th 2008 11:39AM That price is way too high for a non-smart phone. It also is not an Apple product, or the price would probably be right. LOL
ACU dishing out iPhone / iPod touch to all incoming freshmen {Engadget}
Feb 26th 2008 1:25PM should have went to McMurry or Hardin Simmons! LOL
Seriously though, Abilene is run by ACU and the Church of Christ...have they even got a Hooters there yet? I live in the Bible Belt and we gots a Hooters! :)
ACU dishing out iPhone / iPod touch to all incoming freshmen {Engadget Mobile}
Feb 26th 2008 1:21PM I lived in Abilene for a while and ACU is quite the opposite of a party school. So while the Iphone may be tempting, you'll need it because you'll lack any social life outside of church.
Hands-on with modu: it's real and plenty fantastic {Engadget Mobile}
Feb 12th 2008 1:21PM This is actually a pretty cool concept if you ask me, although I agree I don't see it catching on.
I wouldn't mind seeing a series60 Nseries flavor that I could interchange between a keyboard phone, stereo/GPS, and a regular candybar phone.
Microsoft buys Danger, Windows Mobile Sidekick imminent {Engadget Mobile}
Feb 11th 2008 11:41AM does this mean we could see a sidekick on other carriers than T-mobile?
The Nokia N78, in European and North American flavors {Engadget Mobile}
Feb 11th 2008 10:13AM What's the deal with the touch sensitive keys? I've played with phones that had this feature and they were unresponsive at times and nothing like the tactile regular keys. This phone is awesome and would've been my next s60, until I saw that crap keyboard.
The Engadget Interview: Ralph de la Vega, CEO of AT&T Mobility {Engadget}
Nov 26th 2007 2:20PM I just want to say thanks for asking those questions about Symbian. Being a Symbian enthusiast, I wonder why at&t doesn't offer more choices...even though I still wonder why their Symbian Handsets were delayed...way to dance around that one Ralphy!
