Jul 12th 2008 2:57PM I had been hearing in the blogosphere before the iPhone 3g launch that the iPhone would not be a big deal and that people would not wait like they did last year. But it seems to me that things are alot crazier this year than last. I was able to walk in last year after the line died down and purchase an iPhone without a hiccup. Tried it this year and the line was out the Mall entranceway at the Columbia Mall Apple store.
Is it more people getting iPhones this year or is it just the activations holding the process up in your opinions?
