In and Out in Four Hours: Getting the iPhone 3G on Day One {The Unofficial Apple Weblog (TUAW)}

Jul 11th 2008 2:57PM I'm just amazed that people don't remember how this went last year on June 29th. It's the exact same thing all over again. It pissed me off then when I actually got an iPhone. This time around I'm thankful I'm not getting one and waiting until I'm eligible next month.

iPhone 2.0 and iPod touch 2.0 released officially {Engadget}

Jul 11th 2008 1:37PM Yeah, you will lose the data on the device. It'll back it up beforehand, but I'd make sure you have all the original data in iTunes somewhere.

AT&T listing "iPhone Black" model, O2 gets the original back in stock {Engadget}

May 12th 2008 11:43AM If you go look at the other current phone models on their they all have a Black after them. It's some AT&T goof up. Settle down everyone.

AT&T WiFi access now listed as "included" with iPhone {Engadget}

May 8th 2008 9:23AM Does "access" really mean free? They may just be saying that iPhone uses have access to use their hotspots, but not freely.

Apple, Microsoft to push Exchange Direct Push to iPhone? {Engadget Mobile}

Jun 26th 2007 4:28PM If this comes out to be true, I'll be in line with all the other dorks at the local Apple/AT&T store.

Cingular branded BlackBerry Pearl pictures leaked {Engadget Mobile}

Oct 31st 2006 1:47PM I guess it really depends on how long the T-Mobile exclusive is, if there is one at all. I love the Pearl I have on T-Mobile.

Verizon Wireless finds soul, wants to prorate early termination fees {Engadget}

Jun 29th 2006 11:22AM Some states require prorating the ETF. I think Florida is one of them. I think this is very good news from Verizon Wireless, since they're usually the biggest pain in the arse. I hope this goes around and everyone does it. Like the article said, it will really help out the early adopter types, like me.

"Black Tie Edition" Treo 650 is real, shipping in US {Engadget Mobile}

Jun 21st 2006 9:20PM Palm is doing this because they can't get a UMTS/HSDPA Treo 700p/w out yet. The US carriers don't have a big enough footprint yet. I'm not really sure about Europe. This black tie Treo 650 is a stop gap to keep making some money until the UMTS/HSDPA Treo 700p/w comes out at the end of the year (hopefully).
